Lync 2013 is the next generation unified communications application that helps users be more productive by enabling them to communicate and collaborate easily with others in different locations or time zones using a range of different communication options. These options include instant messaging (IM), voice, desktop sharing and video. To get started using Lync 2013, download and install the Lync 2013 application.
The email address used for Lync must be added to the Lync Server. If you have a problem signing into Lync, email firstname.lastname@example.org
Download Lync 2013
1. To download Lync 2013, click the download button below and save the installation file.
Note: Lync 2013 x64 requires a 64-bit Operating System and a 64-bit version of Office 2013. If you are unsure of your current OS or Office version, we recommend you download the Lync 2013 x86 client.
2. Install Lync 2013 by navigating to the download directory and double-click the Lync2013.exe file. If prompted by UAC, click Yes to start the installation.
3. When the Welcome to Lync 2013 Setup screen opens, click Install.
4. When Setup has finished, click Close to complete the installation and launch Lync 2013.
